I had a brief hiatus from full time art-making between my MFA at U.C.L.A. in 1978 and the sale of my Elysian Valley manufacturing company in 2017 (LOL). I am an example of a "re-emerging" artist whose work is not fresh from youth but ripened from life.

My work is almost exclusively "sculpture", i.e. three dimensional, but I prefer the word "constructions" to describe them, both for how they are made and for the reference to the art historical "Constructivist"movement of the early and middle 20th C.
